Stranded? Yes, many times.
Had a loose ground for 6 months that I thought I had found repeatedly. Kept popping fuses at the fuel pump, which sent me on wild goose chases. Turned out to be the battery terminal.
The worst time was a smoking ex girlfriend's first ride in the car to a car show and it dies at 5pm in 107 August Dallas heat. She was a trooper about it.
Then there was the blown head gasket. (unfortunately, no relation to the smoking ex girlfriend...)
Now it's something in the clutch that has me grounded.
I've never recovered from the loose ground and now don't trust the car for more than 20 minutes at a time. But my therapist and I are working through that....
