Does it make any sense to you to pay good money for a new clutch kit that you have to modify (in order to make it work correctly) and make it hold LESS horsepower? Removing the weight system subtracts from the clamping force of the pressure plate and puts you right back to an OEM replacement clutch. The kits that come with their "dual friction" disc have a little more butt behind them because the friction material is higher on those than a regular organic/organic disc, but you're still not at the performance of a good quality clutch kit.
