Im not sure if it has been discussed before, apart from some mention of RTA concerns about "dodgy" engineers, what has triggered this situation we (in NSW especially) find ourselves in? Has there been a spate of ICV accidents? Defects? Complaints? Impounded cars or hoons? Too much bragging on the forums about bits falling off after rego perhaps, or just too much whining about a system that was a little difficult, but is now virtually impossible to navigate?
