When I called DMV the lady had no idea what I was talking about, so she did mention that you can't transfer ownership of the title. But she recommended that I call bureau of auto repair. The tech guy over there said that I should have no issue.

I haven't had the car inspected but I took a good look over and it's fine. They're such simple cars and that's why I'm buying it. The price is right too. I just need to change out the seats and wheels.
