That depends a lot more, on how the car is set up, and the driver's skills.

A ferrari, is going to end up the same as the vette's, viper's, lambo's, BMW's etc, if the car is not set up right, and the driver is not skilled.

makes my point that, no matter how well engineered and dummy proof a car is made, it doesn't make up for driver skill, or track prep.
Anyway I'm quite sure Jackie Stewart is ready to trade the ford cosworth in his garage, for that 3" diameter gold pendant and chain.
