Also, most of the wire loom clamps are the modern zinc plated steel with black rubber insulation. Is there an earlier version of these?

i used a combo of the rubber insulated ones and the type of clamp that you would typically see holding a brake line. but i removed the rubber for the look and the idea it would probably melt around my headers. i shoved all of my wires into looms, the fiber woven cloth type.(black) i think they are high temp fiberglass.
oh.....WIRING SUCKS>>>>>>
i seriously hope i never have to do it again. lol
