Ron......the revision in the cooling systems is to reduce the top speed while drafting, which I " think " is set at 195mph, in the interests of safety, to reduce the probability of a car hitting high up in the track catch fence......believe the cars were hitting 205mph++ in the ShootOut. If a car ever got into the stadiums......

In a separate article, mentioned the ECUs are set & tested by the vendor and given to NASCAR as a sealed unit. Re-test of the ECU etc parameters will be part of the post race tear down, believe it's the top 3 plus random selection. Basically, the same controls as F1.

Will there be the conspiracy theories regarding secret markings on the ECU for selective drivers ?
