I've done some on some builds and it pretty much goes as the directions say---altho some of there guys speak some different choices of words---they don't use auto motive terms but computer geekish---

Set the part that times the engine to a few degrees more advanced than your desired timing as the computer can retard the timing but not advance it---then set the cam signal one at the 50*

You might want to narrow the rotor tab to reduce the chance of crossfiring to the next cylinders tab
