Well, the story continues. I got some new tie rods and got them to Nick to lengthen.. they fit fine by the way, Nick.. So I took off the one that didn't break, just as a safety measure. Check out the photos.. It didn't have long left. I don't know if it's something specific to my car or the way I drive, but this is scary. If I had a Contemporary with about 30K miles on it, I'd be checking the tie rods out carefully..
The worn spot is clearly visible. This thing could fail at any minute.
