We are starting a blog on the build of csx7073 which should be the first of the new 7000 series cars designed by Ross Henry. Jim Cowles of Shelby Parts and Restoration is heading up the engine, detailing work, and well...basically everything
.
I am trying to make it as "correct" as possible and duplicate csx2323 as it raced at Targa Florio in 1964. Its been a really fun project and I thought I could share some of the details here at the forum. Authentic 5 bolt 289 hipo, italian webers, aluminum T10L transmission, on and on....
The blog has just been started....we will try to get some of the engine details posted this week. The car should be to Shelby in Las Vegas hopfully next month. If you have any questions or comments please let me know...
