I'll pass. Some down here in the South Bay, did this once in Mountain View (thankfully, I drove my daily) and I heard a kid 'standing' on a side pipe for a better view, people touching the cars. The concensus was, they'd never do that again.
If any of you decide on this, print up some notes for the windshield that read (PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH).
