Thanks Bill, I will take a look at the Hurricane. ERA do have some issues with the size intruding into the foot boxes. The information I received from Ford Racing was that the 4.6L 4V 1999-2003 ENGINE was 28” wide (from the widest point which is at the cam gears) and 24” long and the new 5.0L engine is 30” wide (from tip to tip of the valve covers) and 24” long. I cant seen to locate the 5.4L dimensions but I cant seem them being any smaller.
FFR have confirmed that the supercharged 4.6 does require a number of modifications to fit their chassis because of the changes Ford made to the accessory drive on that engine.
