team400, be sure to do your homework before buying from A&C in Buffalo.

Start by looking through the previous posts on this forum about importing Cobra kits from the U.S. into Canada. It's a minefield and, while it can be done, you will need to sort some things out with Transport Canada beforehand, else you risk having the kit seized at the border. I'd hate to see you have a problem.

The other thing you should look into is insurance. My understanding is that most home-built Cobra replicas can only be covered through Facility Association. Very expensive, no agreed-value coverage, but at least you'll be on the road. Make sure you know what you're getting into.

There's a Canadian section over at the Factory Five forum. You should check it out. Lots of guys there who have already done what you're looking to do. A great resource.
