Yes, there are two different versions of the WAW's. The Superformance Owners manual offered by "2nd Strike" has done a lot of research on this factory spinner/wheel interchange issue. They have figured out the mix and match relationships between Trigo, WAW1 & WAW2 wheels and spinners. Vintage Wheels have not been added to the mix, but they definitely should be. I think we all had our hands full with the manual covering just SPF parts at the time. If someone with the details on Vintage Wheels, spinners, pins, etc. contacts me directly offline, I'll see to it that information to adapt Vintage Wheels on to a SPF chassis gets incorporated into the Superformance Owners Manual; or at worst, we’ll have a definitive answer for those who contact Mike or me on how to adapt Vintage Wheels to a SPF chassis originally supplied with Trigo’s, or either style WAW’s.
