So after a bunch of phone calls to the Regional Office etc this is what I came up with. Currently the car is titled as a 2006 Assembled Roadster, no notes section on the title. The state the car was registered in does not have emissions therefore is not required like certain counties in Texas to be ODB2 compliant. There is a bunch of posts likes this same one that I have looking at and I think this is the correct course: Get safety inspection, get new TX title indicating 1965 Shelby Cobra Replica, no emissions testing..... The one thing I am not sure of is having this looked at by DPS or someone to inspect it. If it must be inspected by them, what paperword do I bring? Any help is appreciated!
