Default Firewall holes / capillary tube routing

Looking for some advice/info on the above, specifically:

Does anyone have any pics of the correct places for the grommet holes for the capillary tubes and the other connections that go through the firewall and into the engine bay? Ive got one pic of a red csx car, but doesnt tell me everything i need.

Im also wondering about any correct/preferred routiing for these within the engine bay and across to the engine?

and finally...

having not used capillary gauges before im wondering how you deal with these if you need to pull off the dash to replace a bulb or check some faulty wiring? do you just curl up an S-shape on each tube behind the dash? - these tubes look very delicate to me.
