I have read that the pipes do not interchange. IMO, there's isn't much value to that, anyway. I don't think they flow any better, or sound any better.

If you want better sound, you can upgrade the pipes to something like a Classic Chambered Exhaust cobra pack, or an auger styl;e muffler. If you want more power, you need better headers with bigger primary pipes.
