My vote is try them silver for a while, it's a nice contrast with the red and black and should look even better when the car is on the road
... you can always paint them later if you like.
Just for reference, here are some photos of CSX2323 and the brake scoops were painted the same color as the car … not sure if they were like that when the car was raced back in the day. That being said … it looks good too.
