Midstates was one of the first cars I looked at way back before I got my first Unique. I heard something similar to this about five years ago, and even a few references from folks who claim the maker of their particular un-named cars/bodies originated from said molds. However, but nothing I could quite put my finger on that led me to believe it was 100% true. If there was a pre-existing mock up body just sitting somewhere to do some experimentation, there may be some interest to see what could actually be done to cross-adapt it and to validate some ideas or assumptions.
