I have always run multiple carbs when I had my old car. In the same car using my 428 I ran a 2x4 set up followed by a 6x2 setup then a stack FI system. In my opinion, if you don't have the time to learn the tuning don't do it unless you have a very good friend to help you or really deep pockets.

Nothing worse than wanting to take a Cobra cruise with your buddies and realize that for some unknown reason, the tuning on one or more carbs is messed up and you don't know how to fix it and you can't get it to the shop in time to make the run. I know it had me do a quick crash course on how to tune the carbs.

I am by no means an expert but got to the point that I could make it run under most circumstances. I'm lucky that I do have a good friend that I would consider an expert that I could call when I got in over my head.

I'm thinking of doing webers on my next car and have already started reading things to try and get a baseline of knowledge on their tuning. The plan is have the system dialed in by someone in the know and then do my best to maintain and do fine adjustments. After a bit more study, I'll have to make the call as to wheather I can do that or not.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Just one man's opinion
