.... My advice would be to take your time and follow the ads for a while. Cobra country; this forum; the web etc if you aren't doing it already. I spent over a year following the ads, comparing features, age of vehicle, kit vs factory, etc. I found that there is enough turnover that it was fairly easy to develop a feel for value vs asking price. The other issue is to try to decide on the make of the vehicle. Once you have this narrowed down it will be even easier to make your own appraisal. When I was finally ready to make a move I was able to offer a fair price for my cobra and was able to back up to the seller the basis of my offer. In the end we both walked away satisfied, and I saved ten grand for my work and a righteous car in the process.
