Default Sort of a diagnosis

Took it to Pero Trailer Mfg in McKinney yesterday. They took the wheels off and measured the front and rear clearance of the brake drums to the frame. No misalignment evident. But the wear pattern on the outside edge of the RR tire suggests the spindle mount on that side is bent down (negative camber?) Probably due to a pothole or curb strike. I can't imagine which of the thousand potholes on Oklahoma's broke-ass US69 could have been responsible

They say if the axle was bent, there would be uneven wear on both sides of the axle. Ok, they recommend a new axle. About $400, no big deal. But I might take this opportunity to upgrade to 5000# axles. I am right at the limit on these 3500's when I am at full combat load.
