Replace the ignition switch, this can get worse. On my Backdraft, the switch went out slowly, but in the other direction. Was cruising on the freeway when it just went dead, coasted over to the side and tried to start it again, it fired and made it about 100 feet. Kept this up till I got it off the busy road. Switch was hot. Replaced it on the side of the road, very easy, and all was well and still is. That thing can strand you and they are cheap.
