I wouldn't say "Perfect" just because it's an absolute but it works way better than the original. Our originals are generic doo doo anyway and the size of the opening in the dash is for the universal types that you'll find in the help section of just about any auto parts store. I had to use an extra washer as a spacer in mine but that kept me from having to glue it in with a huge glob of silicone. Nearly all of them will have 3 posts on the back and we only use 2 of them because of the starter button but even those are labeled. So, unless you just really have no faith in your mechanical ability at all, shag your happy azz down to the parts store and pick one up! I think you'll be glad you did.
