Before going to all the expense and effort of putting turbos or any other power adder on you should try driving a fairly stock N/A motored Cobra. You may feel afterwards that the extra power is not needed. I built most of a blower setup for mine but decided to shelve that idea after driving Garrett's Supercharged Superformance. With 550RWHP on tap I believe there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
