i had the same issue with my daughter......i used a thick seat cushion...it was shaped like a "L" like you would use on a wooden dining chair. that made the belts fit her better so i could snug them up. i kept it in the trunk.......was kind of a booster seat....



simpson will make up custom ones....but then that seat will be dedicated to the small in stature
