When I had 3042, I would occasionally have someone tell me the blue fittings on the
oil cooler were incorrect for the car. I would politely let them know they were untouched from the way it was delivered in '66. If you look closely at the fittings on 3050, you can see they, too, are blue beneath the flat black paint.
