I have my cobra so low, that I use small ramps to drive the car onto, then the arms/pads will clear the side pipes. Since I only have a single stall garage and short ceilings, I love this lift. I just leave the columms bolted down all year and store the rest into a corner. I also have the motorcycle/ATV arms, not only for working on the toys, but I lay a sheet of plywood on the arms as a work table when needed, like welding, working on the lawn mower, household projects, ect...
