I agree re the spec racer dung.
This quote: "The URC will feature identically built NuArt CanAm cars reminiscent of the "glory days" of the Canadian-American Challenge Cup (Can-Am) from the 1960s and '70s." Is the death of it before it even starts.
What made Can Am so cool was you never knew what someone was going to show up with to stomp the crap out of everyone else. Basically NONE of the cars looked the same because everyone was trying something different.
Granted, the NuArt cars are beautifull and I'd like to see and hear them run once but only once. Seems to me this is just another COT (Car Of Tomorrow) and about as interesting. Sad.
