Thanks guys-
This morning I talked to David Kee and he says "you're heading in the right direction-just keep on doing what you're doing".

So... since I already have the fork and the slave cylinder is on its way, I'm going to install them. If David Kee says it will work, I'm sold.

I have heard good things about the Quarter Master throw outs though.
