Here are some close-ups of the historically problematic door areas.
In this first one, what looks like a yellow "gap" is resin with no gel-coat. All in all it's good, and I'm impressed by the quality of the body. The chassis is also impressive, but looks the same as the 3 or 4 other round-tube CR chassis that I have seen.
The brown marks are residue from masking tape which was holding doors, boot and bonnet shut.
regarding the gas strut thread that has been going on, you can see the CR hinges (boot and bonnet) are flat, and pre-drilled with a selection of holes to take a strut;
