I must have been lucky to get a "good" drivers door for mine as it fitted quite ok (when I look back on photos).
Regarding the fuel tank - my advice would be to see if you can cost-effectively get a custom one that can take a ford/holden combo fuel pump/swirl pot, fuel guage regulater etc. Mine was too shallow for this and I had to put in complex external, noisy and expensive plumbing and swirl pot.
