Default what a great trip!

Had a great time yesterday! I left my house in Midlothian at 6:30am, arrived in Round Rock at 9:30am. Finish my meeting at noon, and got back on I-35. I arrived at Russ's home at 2:00pm and we hung at in his garage ... he is building an awesome car. The body is stored on a buck and he hasn't touched it since when delivered. he's been concentrating on the chassis. You can follow Russ' build tread on Club Cobra. He patiently answered all of my hundreds of questions, and let me poke through all the boxes that came with his kit.

It so happened that Steve Sinnard of Hurricane was in San Antonio the same weekend for a convention with Bowie, their veterinary business. He wanted to take us out to dinner. We went down to the River Walk and had a a great visit. We drank, ate and talked until 11:00pm - thats when I headed back home, and pulled in my driveway at 3:00am - what a day!
