Jeffy, I agree with you. This site is pretty much designed for all of us fake Cobra owners and our many different opinions about stuff relating to our hobby. I think it's a great site and I've been around for several years. I also built my own ERA, and I built it as I interpreted an original would be like. I don't usually beat up other guys here with their own interpretations, but when a bully comes around and says a checkbook makes his stuff better than our stuff, that really gets my goat. Many of these guys couldn't build a hen house if their life depended on it, never mind a running automoblie. As for the justification of 'Real' parts cars, there may be dozens of 'Real' Cobras out there with questionable pedigree mixed in with the pure originals. We've all heard the stories of cars being built from the parts of one or several others. Paperwork is not that hard to manufacture, much easier to do than to counterfeit money. As a result, I suspect some of these 'Real' Cobras may be not much more original than my own fake Cobra, just a lot more expensive. Don't get me wrong, I've met many original Cobra owners who were quite humble, but there are assholes in every group. Don't let these guys get to you, they probably drive Miatas.
