Wink Diode Question. Engine Run On..
My electric fan is feeding back causing run on... I went to Radio Shack to get a diode to fix this. THe guy at our Radio Shack doesn't know a diode from his A**. I Bought what I thought should work, but I'm not sure.. THey are labeled 1kV 2.5 A
Silicon Diode. Can I use this ??
Peak Inverse Voltage 1000V Forward Voltage Drop at 1f 1v
Forward current 2.5 A Maximum Surge Current (16ms) 80A
Reverse current at PIV 1uA I don't have a clue ......
