Which Accel system? My Roush setup used the Gen 7 version and from experience I can tell you that unless some very careful attention has been paid to the altitude compensation table it will not work well at 5000' if the calibration was done at sea level. Furthermore, the lack of backpressure invalidates the table if the calibration was done on a classic exhaust system (e.g., Mustang) vs. the side pipes of the Cobra [as Roush can now confirm].

I became an Accel DFI guru before I was done. [Not that I really wanted to, but it is interesting how it works, and when the table is correctly populated it will go from sea level to 10000'+ with no difference in performance.]

Just a heads up...

I would expect the self learning systems would be easier to handle in this area.

No matter what, the system is gorgeous, especially the one on the FE.
