I have an early Jag center section. Actually, 2 of them. Both are the Salisbury units. After searching through this site, I cannot seem to come to a finite conclusion what needs to be done to put the Dana ring and pinion in this center section...or even if it can be done.

Has anybody done this? If so, what exactly needs to be done? If not, is there still a source for ring and pinions for this early style carrier? I have a 4 series posi and a 3 series. I'm looking for either a 3.70 for the 3 series, or a 3.90 for the 4 series. I believe the split between carriers is that size range.
