Yep, how about the guy in Florida two years ago that slid his Cobra in to the curb in front of the country club at around 25MPH. Little damage to the car, but he had an upadded roll bar, and his head smacked in to it at the same 25MPH. BFT with life threatening injuries. His wife's side did not have a roll bar, so no BFT for her... but no shoulder protection either, so she got a face-whack by the dash (not life threatening, but painful). Of course, we don't talk about it -- unpadded roll bars look "cooler" to some, as do MRIs of the brain.
