The 14" round air cleaners were Ford issue. The early ones have a slightly different chrome top shape, but by the time 427s were out, they used the same one as is currently available in reproduction. The originals are not too difficult to find, and seem to be made from slightly thicker steel. I believe Ford still lists a good reproduction one in the Racing Parts catalog.
