Quick update for those who are going through the registration process. I had a great experience at the Oakland CHP office this afternoon. Officer accepted the VIN sequence already on the car and approved the number and VIN location on the chassis and body.

My next stop is the BAR referee in Alameda on Tuesday. If all goes well there I should be ready to go to the DMV for my final registration the following week
