Default holley fuel rail question

My old fuel rail (for a 650 double-pumper) had a slow leak, so I decided to replace it with AN fittings. Dry, everything seemed to connect well. I tightened things securely, but not "gorilla" tight, and once I got fuel in the lines, it started leaking at the two inlet points on the carb.

The gaskets between the inlet "pipe" (looks like a pipe, anyway) and the carb are new - is there some sort of seal I need to put on the threads, or did I just not tighten it enough?

Thanks,

JLW
