Resurrecting this thread after nearly 5 years! Thought I'd update everyone on my brake pad upgrade.

Last weekend I fitted QFM HPX pads to the front and Remsa pads to the the rear. Front brakes are near new VZ Commodore calipers with slotted discs and the rears are freshly rebuilt calipers and machined solid discs from an R33 GTS-T. The pads were supplied by Race Brakes in Yarraville.

Bled the system (Castrol dot 4) and after bedding in I'm very impressed with the improved stopping power. Plenty of progressive bite from this setup, which includes a rebuilt XF Falcon booster but no other mods such as proportioning valves or wagon spec parts that have been discussed elsewhere.

I haven't pushed too hard on the street but the fronts appear to protest before the rears. Can't wait to test properly on the track.
