I think that the bell housing must be drilled to mount the pivot bracket, but I'll ask Doug when he gets in this morning. We've been using internal throwout bearings on our in-house stuff for a while.

The pivot bracket is no longer available from Ford but we're making a repro ourselves if you need one.
