Not Ranked
Default Normal oil PSI range.

So today was the first really nice day this year and I got the Cobra out. My first chore was to change the oil. I was very excited because I hadn't actually driven the car yet except around the block when I bought the car this past December. So today was the first drive.........I absolutely LOVED it!!!

At any rate, I was wondering what the normal PSI range for the oil is. When I first started the car it was around 60-65. I can't remember exactly what it was when it finally warmed up but it seems it was around 15-20 at idle and maybe 35-40 when I was driving.

I will get actual numbers tomorrow, what is the typical range?

Also, on a second question, my engine is a 1967 428. How many quarts of oil does that engine hold? I was nervous that the dipstick was inaccurate when I was filling it back up.
