Jay-the distributor was hitting the intake, MSD makes one specifically for the Vic Jr intake which is a bit taller but exactly the same otherwise. It was not installed on my engine so I changed it. No good deed goes unpunished
BTW I think my "bang is the trailing arm hitting the frame/body....if u look at it on the drive on lift, the front of the trailing arm is touching where the 2 bolts are. Do you think I can grind a little bit there?
