If you drop the engine that should not disturb the drive shaft angles - in the vertical plane and that could be easily compensated for...

Yes the MAF goes inside. The Summit filter that I got needed to be gutted and the MasFlo bits installed in replacement. Did MasFlow (Chris Richards) give you advice on how to alter the Summit filter to suit their system?
