Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Optima batteries are color coded. The Red Top batteries are automotive use, the Yellow top are made for RV/Deep cycle use, and the Blue top batteries are for Marine/Boat starting use.

Of course, there is no rule against using a Marine or RV battery in a car, but they work best in different charging situations and parameters of use.

Just my 2 pesos.
