So my question then, is when I install the oil cooler, would there be enough oil in the system to fill the cooler, or do I need to add more? And if I do, how do you check the oil level, and if required, add in some more oil?

Also, for a quick hydraulic clutch question, can the oil line between master and slave cylinders by 3/16", or does it need to be bigger? I see that the original HSV line is 1/4".

Thanks.
You have a transmission fluid cooler? Why? Is there a pump installed inline somewhere?

To answer your question, you will need to add more fluid to compensate for the capacity of the cooler and the lines, but unless you're running hours upon hours on a road race course or a Cup race, it's absolutely not necessary.

As for the clutch line, I usually use a -3 or -4 line, which would be a 3/16 or 1/4" line. Either will work.
