Yes I remember the same device when Bernie left with my car.

When it gets back on the road I will be keen to see if the slight tweak I made has helped, as Bernie's opinion was that it could stop better, though it did pass the test.

I changed over the crack valve in the master cylinder to better spread the braking load.

Don't think the rules have changed so you should be fine Paul, particularly if Bernie concurs with you on the car's stopping capability and he has reviewed and is satisfied with your braking components.
