In my area softer vs. stiffer will work better.
I do appreciate the stock Bilsteins and spring rates because of the road quality and types of roads in my area. They really are pretty decent when balanced and set up correctly.
If I put stiffer springs and shocks on my car it would just wind up the chassis more when hitting bumps and dips. So in essence all would be doing is transferring More impact from the road directly into the chassis of the car.
Kind of like robbing Peter to pay Paul.
